What is collected

The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser identifier, time) for up to 30 days, for security and to fix errors. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read; Google sets its own cookies for that and processes the data under its own privacy policy. No account, sign-up, comment or newsletter exists on this site, so no name or email address is ever asked for.

Cookies

One cookie belongs to the site: it remembers the language you picked in the header for one year, so you are not redirected on every visit. Google Analytics adds its measurement cookies. There are no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels beyond that.

The tools on the home page

The location check reads a two-letter country code from the CDN in front of the site, only when you press the button; the code is shown to you and not stored. The latency check sends a few small requests from your browser to the exchanges' public API hosts to time them; those requests carry no personal data, and the results stay in your browser. The live price ticker is fetched by the server, not by your browser. The copy buttons write text to your clipboard and nothing else.

Your rights

You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site keeps working without them. Server logs are rotated automatically and nothing in them is kept beyond 30 days or shared with anyone.
